Holy poopsicle is it a lot of the best of the 80s that i just acquired. Halfway tempted to listen to it straight through, but i don't have the makeup or railroad tracks to go with it.

I don't mean to sound like a queer or nothin, but Depeche Mode is a really sweet band.

I have no shame in admitting I like Depeche Mode...

They really are, it's true. Unlike some bands *cough* U2 *cough*, they keep making really good stuff.

Oh I wasn't laughing at the Depeche Mode love, but at the Orgazmo "Dave the Sound Guy" reference.

I can't believe they have 5 gigs of material. Obviously it's not a compressed file format, but still. I liked Violator and a few songs from Music for the Masses and Songs of Faith and Devotion. Don't know their stuff afterwards.

it was a lot of remixes (depeche mode has to be the most remix-friendly band ever) and live recordings, but its 192k compressed.

Playing the Angel, Exciter and Ultra are all very good, with a half-dozen top-notch tracks per album.

The only thing I know about them is the remix that Kruder and Dorfmeister did of one of their pieces. It was good though. I see their name at the good record store here (Radio Kaos) a lot.

I've always loved Depeche Mode from way back in the mid '80's.

Gravity Kills did a version of Personal Jesus that I wrote into the second novel. Not really better than the original, but it's not bad and I like to use alternatives when they fit.
