5-speed AWD to FWD...can it work?

IF in theory one has an AWD 5-speed tranny hangin' around, could they use the AWD tranny in just FWD?

All the power would go to the freewheeling driveshaft stub

Sweet All I have to do is lengthen my drive shaft 2" then I can do a swap... Horray SVX

I'd put that tranny in the SVX
