i finally found a donor car for a trans and whatnot, my question is, what kind of power can this tranny take. im not looking to make it take anymore than the engine puts out stock so basically my question is, could this thing handle a beating from a ej22t?
also does anyone think itll be hard to mount a cable type pedal set? i know the ss used a hydraulic clutch but im not gonna be lucky enough to get that kind of setup. the donor is a 90 legacy l as stated above and my car is a 94 ss. thanx

It should be alright.

There should be a little rubber grommet already in the firewall where the cable clutch goes, so it shouldn't be too big a deal to swap the cable system in.

well the swaps almost done after 1.5 days work. this shit went fairly easy, i just wish i had a lift and proper trans jack.

question - with the starter interlock, can you just jumper the wire so it thinks its always in neutral? i ask because i need to get the car running quickly.
