Cheap engine stand

Im going to be pulling my engine sometime next week, Im gonna start working on it right away.
Theres some stuff I want to do wtih the block still together and I was thinking about this for a tabletop engine stand, keep in mind I dont have a shop or a lot of space.
Ive got the bellhousing from the 4EAT I blew with the bad crown it in. I was gonna gut it, weld on a couple legs, and bolt the engine to it.
Is there any reason this would be dangerous?
