AFC hate here but looking for alternatives smt4-6 *poll*

Well to the least I have been having car issues for the 2 months I used three maf s,new coolant temp sensor, and o2 sensor. That was not the problem I unpluged the afc and bang the car runs fine . Now since I unpluged the afc a check in engine light has come on but as soon as I plug the afc back in the check engine light goes off but the car does not run? Also with the afc unpluged I have been driving for about 50mi and have gone through half a tank of gas could the afc been changing my fuel curves that much? Also what would the cost of a smt4-6 system be and what kind of gas millage do you all get with it hooked up and tunned?
