So i just picked up a 90 awd subaru legacy wagon and i had to install a new motor after it was all hooked up i started it and it ran great than about a 1/2 mile than it started sharking and missfiring and than it kicked on the check engine light so i go onto this board and find out about the check connectors and the obd1 is telling me that the tps is out of wac and all 4 injectors are out of wac the cide is (Fuel injector inoperative (Abnormal signal emitted from monitor circuit). What do you guys recomend i do with it? i need to get it going or sell it. has anyone incountered this problem before? also the engine will not start nomatter how many times i crank it and the plugs are just covered in fuel i think its flooded. what do u guys think.

timing belt not installed correctly is a possible thing to check, they maybe used the wrong marks to line it up. easy to fix, easy for a non-subaru person to put it on incrorrecly.

whay year is the engine, it might have the wrong MAF sensor?

wow that is very possable when i was doing the engine swap i notive that i had to use the engine mounts that where on the origenal engine because on the new motor it had studs sticking out on the bottem and i count use them but thats not important what is is i think the motor is out of a 91 or a 92 but im think the tag sais 91 ill dobble check tommarow. hmm is there instructions on how to install a timing belt the right way on this board if so could you please link me? also what modle maf should i have is there a right number or something thanks.
