hi every one. ive got a 92 ss and im trying to figer out how to pull the codes from the ecu cause the engine light comes. it almost comes on every time after i floor the car. its starting to make me not want to drive it untill its fixed.

any help is greatly apresiated.

search on how to pull codes, and how to reset ECU.
Probably just the knock sensor, and if you need a new one they run about 50 from the discount subaru dealers.
Could be the MAF is a little dirty and you can clean that with some brake cleaner but you need to be careful and not touch the wires on the sensor.

i surched and couldnt find anything, just posts about codes other people are geting.

thats because its in the library on the main page found here along with lots of other usefull information. Also check out the stuff you need to know section of the forum, there are many threads full of info such as service manuals, wirring diagrams, etc. Hope that helps and welcome to the forum.

i toke the car on the freeway and ran it to 115. hit it acouple of times on the streets and still no engine light. maybe it stoped malfunctioning.
