Just swapped an engine from my totalled 94 awd into a 93 fwd. the speedo and odometer do'nt work.what should I check first. I would rather try to fix myself rather than bring back to the garage that did the swap as I had a fight with them over the bill ($1500.00) for the swap. thx

I'd check to make sure the speedo cable is hooked up.

On the autos, there is a base piece that commonly fails.
