As some of you know, i just picked up an 07 Legacy GT, so i need to sell this ASAP.

Phone if your really serious: 914-804-4448
Im located at 10598 (its NY and im about 40 min from NYC)

1992 Subaru Legacy SS
2.2 turbo (closed deck motor)
5 Speed
AWD
151,XXX miles
Motor Runs strong, Pulls hard (I don't beat the car, the car since ive had it has never been remotely close to redline, it was simply a commuter car.)

Aftermarket:
Wrx Exhaust
Wrx Wheels
Tow Hitch (kid before me wanted to carry bicycles around)
New KYB adjustable Rear struts
New Subaru front struts
Gutted Airbox (baffles removed)

New Parts:
(have all reciepts, totalling: ~$3000)
-New timing belt
-New water pump
-New Valve cover gaskets
-New steering boots
-New Brakes (including calipers)
-New radiator, flange bottle, fill tank
-New Clutch, Pressure plate, throw out bearing
-New hoses
-New plugs/wires/fuel filter/pvc valve
-New belts

The Bad:
-Needs New tires
-Tranny is a bit slopy, but it shifts smooth and no grinds!
a couple TINY spots of rust and thats it! (surface only, will get pics up soon of that), also a few dings here and there. But over all the car is very solid.
A few things that are common with a car thats 14 years old. (squeaks and rattles)

Aftermarket parts included, but not installed:
-JDM top mount intercooler:Came off the mid 90's WRX's, they flow better and are slightly bigger then even todays wrx intercoolers. (newer)
-3 Inch catless downpipe (used)
-JDM headlights (new)
-Seatbelt conversion kit (so they aren't power anymore)

im sure theres things im forgetting, so as i think of them, ill post them up.
Looking to get $2500 FIRM. A little more depending on the aftermarket parts you want that aren't installed. The car is rock solid, and i would take it cross country and back if given the chance. Im selling because im getting to autocross and road racing and i want something else. The car has TONS of potential, this is subarus strongest block that they have ever made. Race motors are built off this block.

Was this car recently painted? I didn't think leggy's came with painted mirrors... :?

Beautiful car, btw. If I didn't have mine, I'd have yours. ;-)

Turbo models and higher trim versions did have matched paint on the mirrors.

My 93 SS didn't...

painted mirrors on a turbo leg are a tell-tale sign of a repaint
-couldnt even get one from the factory in Turbo trim level with painted sideviews.
-same goes for the front bumper air dam area, it is not suppoes to be painted body color in the center part either, it is supposed to be black.

now, the lsi yes did have painted mirrors, turbo no...........

good luck though, looks pretty good. good price for a 5mt turbo

mirrors

I have had 4 SS's. not a one with painted mirrors. 2 91's, 1 92 and a 5 MT from 93. what great cars. after all these years it is still a kick ass car. you can cruise by 50 without even thinking about the speed you are driving.

safe driving and be well, Daniel

thanks for all the kind replies guys! Yes the car was repainted, but it was like 3 or 4 years ago and i don't think they did any major rust repair back then, so like i said before theres a few rust spots coming back through the paint. But it does show very nice. All PM's were returned.

Thanks a lot!

Probably the usmb. Check out the off topic forum. I believe there's a thread in there.
