I have a 92 Legacy Sport that has signs that an alarm/keyless entry system is installed on it, but when i bought the car, no remote was incuded. Under the hood there is the alarm siren and in the dash is an alarm led. Was there a factory alarm that came as an option for these cars? And if so, would i be able to have a remote programmed for it if i tokk the car to a Car alarm installer?

I have the factory/dealer installed alarm & it uses the horn, not a separate siren. I would guess you have an aftermarket one.

But back to my question, can i take it to a stereo shop and have them program a remote? I dont know alot about the workings of alarms
