Will '04 wrx tophats work...

Need to convert an air/pneumatic suspension leggy to conventional setup. I have some '04 wrx springs/struts that I picked up.

Since I am converting I need new tophats, and if I understand it correctly the 90-91 tophats work for the '04 struts.

My question is if I can just use the '04 tophats in this conversion?

TIA... I have read the sticky quite a few times but it is reading a bit like galic to me right now.

galic, do you speaky englash? haha. Its seriously all right there! Anyway, the front 04 WRX tophats will work fine, the rears you just need to put your tophat on the 04 strut and spring assemblies.

The top hats in the fronts (the metal part that the spring sits into, those will fit.

But for the rears, you have to get strut mounts from a 90-91 Legacy (not yours, the air ride mounts are different). That's the only way the rear springs will fit. The WRX rear strut mounts won't fit on your car.
