Blends? lol.... I spray painted mine black, cut the hole in the hood bigger, JB welded on some studs to fasten to, and bolted it on with some weatherstripping around the edges.

So... yeah. Mine doesn't look anywhere near as good as the above pictured, and since I went front-mount it's kinda useless as well. Although it does allow the chimney lots of airflow around the turbo.

I bought this scoop from eBay and am not sure what year WRX it's from.

I expect everyone else who does this to come up with a better-looking setup than mine

Im thinking i'll find a N/A hood to destroy in order to install my WRX scoop. Cant see myself ruining a perfectly good turbo hood, plus I could probably sell it to someone who could use it.

Good informative posts tho guys, thanks a million :)

I saw one that was riveted on and it looked pretty damn cool.

Keep in mind that if you do go with an N/A hood, it'll be a lot harder to get it centered.

Here is my old ride I sold last year, don't know if it's still around, but the wrx hoodscoop was rivited on, I countersunk the holes into the scoop, rivited them and then covered the heads with plastic resin. Turned out pretty good. I miss her.....

Why will it be harder to center the n/a hood on a turbo chassi?
