That fist car is 93 or a 94. The 92 had grey interior and didn't have airbags...I just thought I'd mention. Not trying to nitpick or anything but maybe having a newer year will help ya.

I think it is a 92, with a later steering wheel, as the grey interior never came with airbags period...

Huh, I just noticed that the one with the airbagged steering wheel has grey interior. Your right. The picture below it has black interior, though.

If you look at the VIN, the eighth number from the left is a "2" which means passive restraint. If it was a "3" then that would indicate that it was manufactured with the passive restraint and the steering wheel airbag.

The tenth digit from the left is an "N" which stands for the year 1992. "P" would be for 1993 and "R" would be for 1994.

Some '92's DID come with airbags--I've seen about 1/2 dozen of them already.

BTW, JapCarRealGood, did you just install the '94 steering wheel only or did you install the whole airbag system?

Incidentally, this car has a lot of power.

I just only installed the steering wheel...

And thanks for coming out and test driving it !

Hmmm, I thought I sent you a PM on that. Well, anyway, I gave it a lot of thought and ended with the conclusion that I'm going to pass on it. Thanks for asking! :D

I really enjoyed driving your car! When I first got into the driver's seat and depressed the clutch, I thought, wow, it's stiff, will I be able to control it smoothly? But once I started driving it, it was no problem at all. And, it was fun. I know it was night when we were driving but did you notice the grin I had on my face?

And, thanks for the mini-tour around town! I'm sure I'll be seeing you around sometime, maybe at Robert's . . .

Best to you on the sale of the car!
