hey, new member here...been looking at your forums for a while, and decided to join...
picked this wagon up for 1k, 140k mi, NO RUST, which in maine is next to impossible to find. car is originally from colorado, and i guess they dont use salt there like we do here.

how rare is a mountian edition? this is the first one i have seen. or thats not what this model is referred to as. the previous owner said thats what it was, tho ive never heard of it. i really want to turbo this car. i have a ton of parts to do it, the EMS is the only thing stopping me. id like to find a stock turbo ecu and just use that. any comments are welcome :-)
(ill take better pics also)

EDIT car is now a n/a to turbo conversion!! scroll down for details!

If its a '94 then it could be a debadged Alpine Sport Wagon.

Other than that I looked through the 93 and 94 brochures and the only special wagons were in 94 and they were:

GT Wagon
Sunsport Wagon
Alpine Sport Wagon
Outdoor Wagon

I would bet it is an Alpine Sport Wagon that the pinstripe has been removed. The wheels look right ( I cant get a good enough look at them to be sure)

There is an alpine sport wagon on my street, it's the same color, with the same front grill as the ss. Nice find, looks clean!

the spoiler took about an hour to install, basically 2 notches have to be cut out so it can go around the trim on the hatch, and a fair amount of fiberglass needs to be ground away to make it fit correctly to the hatch. its hard to explain, but once you hold the spoiler up to the hatch, you will see where material needs to be removed. i cut off the mounting studs and attached it with double sided moulding tape, which seems like it will work fine. i may take it back off and match the color to the car, but the black doesnt look too bad for now.
the wheels are 16" chevy beretta gtz factory alloys...all beretta/cavalier/corsica/grand am wheels are 5x100, and the offset is correct... my last subie, had 15"cavalier Z24 wheels....

That install looks VERY SWEET! From a 99 GT Wagon huh? Im going to the salvage yard this weekend and trying to find one. I'll probably rivit it to the car... i dont trust double sided tape.

Very Nice!!!

I've always wanted to do that to an Alpine Sport Wagon... Or at least find an Alpine Sport!!!

That looks awesome!! Have you had it dyno'd? I'm really interested in what kind of numbers this put down. I'm looking to do almost an identical set up except a bit bigger injectors and some mild cams for an E85 tune.

It looks really nice - well done Sir!

That is a sick wagon! I wouldn't paint that spoiler, looks great in black. Matches the rest of the black trim.

Are you going to paint that IC piping to protect it? Or is it clear coated?

If you tinted your windows, blacked out the chrome trim, got black wheels and removed those orange turn signal lenses in your tail lights, I'd jizz in my pants.
