I was going to have a good one and drive the 130 miles home to see my mom and the family.
got outside, took one look at my car, she's bleeding green.
in the process of removing the radiator, I happened to look at the driver side outer axle boot. and it had torn itself, but it looked to be only very recent, perhaps in the last day or two.
My baby loves me, she's just mad because I havn't been giving her much attention lately. She decided thanksgiving would be a great day to demand attention, and I'd agree, except parts stores are closed on thanksgiving.
I have to hope and pray that come Friday Advanced Autoparts will deliver me a new radiator, and I'll worry about the CV joint in a week or so.
Thank god I've got plenty of money to take care of her.
Starter died last Thursday in the parking lot (it was raining) today is a beautiful day, and I can only hope that tomorrow is the same, I'd rather do an axle and a radiator in the dry mild sunshine than a starter in the rain.

We arent havent dinner today because not all of my family can get together, I guess its scheduled for Saturday now
Anywho, I drove my 1991 Loyale all summer with a bursted CV boot and it was OK, so yeah I wouldnt worry about it.
ps - I like how your thread transitioned from the topic of Thanksgiving to maintenance on your car

My Car not only did well, but I got compliments as well -- I washed it, for the first time since it started raining here. I must say, a shiny car in the rain is fn awesome.
My cousins are douchebags. One was so obnoxious, I didn't even want to eat at the table with him, thank god he refused to eat anyway. I was the only one to call him out on being a dick, and so he had to get all confrontational. I must say, though, it's nice that this year someone else gets to be the creep in front of the family.
Anyone else have awkward conversations, and stupid silences with family members around the table?

Yep. My girlfriend and I came to D.C. for the holiday. My last trip here was for work, so this one is much more enjoyable.

Art. . . istn't that what Thanksgiving is all about?
I got to spend my turkey day with family back from the Ukraine. They're missionaries that have come home for a while so it was EXCELLENT to see them again. . . not to mention the lady they're staying with has a Pac-man arcade game, so I played a little old-school Pac-man and ate so much food I barely got to the turkey! I enjoyed Thanksgiving.
