Next week I'm getting a 5MT put into my 94 turbo legacy because the existing 4EAT (swapped in from another car so it only has 90K miles) is dying. The car is still drivable but its slipping and making a whining/buzzing noise. AAMCO said there was also a lot of metal shavings in the tranny pan.

That all being said, wondering if anyone wants the 4EAT cheap -- maybe to rebuild? Anyways, it'll be in Salem, OR.

I got $300 for a 4EAT without the front diff and a blown pinion race.

that said I too have a trany with slip.
from 91 SS. slipped in 3/4 gear. has good front diff.
