Rims are 17x7, et 48. Stock suspension '92 SS.

Cancel...I'm 95% sure they will based on people's experiences with barely larger tires.

if it was a 215/45 or 215/40 I'd say it will probably work.

the 50 series I think probably will rub, especially if you have stock struts.

I have seen two sets of RS wheels with 225/50s locally that I've wanted to buy. I think at most I'd have to roll the rear fenders, but I have different struts and a fair amount of negative camber.

hmm...what do 02 WRX struts do for ride height? I hear those bolt right up to our cars.

Agreed assuming this is for a Legacy SS.

With the 50 aspect ratio they'll almost definitely rub the fenders during cornering.

Yah, I think they will too. Would struts/springs from an '02 or '03 WRX raise it up enough to make them work? I may just go 205/50, but 215/50 would open up a lot of options.

What effect on ride height do WRX struts springs have if put on a '92 ss?

I'm not able to find the source but from what I recall, installing the wrx springs will raise your car, about an inch, IIRC. If you just install GR-2s on your stock springs, they should raise your car about 1-1/2 inches.

Good to know, would going with full WRX strut/spring combo do the same?

Putting in full WRX suspension lifted my car .5-1 inch
