2003 WRX TD04 Turbo

I have a TD04 off of a 2003 WRX, 30k miles. Previous owner cut a couple of the oil and water lines (why I have no idea). Shaft play is OK, spins freely. Turbine and Compressor wheels are not damaged.

I was going to use this to replace my VF11 but I have decided to do something different.
This is NOT a direct bolt in for the VF11, however it should bolt directly to the up pipe and down pipe. The work that is necessary to make it fit is on the intake and pressure sides of the compressor.

Along with the turbo I will throw in a stock WRX turbo to intercooler Y pipe, and a mildly hacked (but repairable with a little polyurethane like Sikaflex 221) WRX turbo intake pipe (under intake style)

new bottom dollar price $140 shipped Cont US. Going to Ebay next.

I also have a T3 oil turbo from a Saab and a 87 Mitz Starion water/oil turbo. The T3 was rebuilt by Garrett and the Mitz is original but in excellent condition. The Saab is a 2.0L engine, the Mitz is a 2.6L engine. $100 shipped Cont US for either of these. I can get details (PN, Pictures, etc) on either.

If you wait for the right buyer a mint used TDO4 might fetch that much.... BUT, I routinely see them go for $100 with low miles. YMMV :wink:

thanks for the info. anyone want to trade a VF39 straight accross? :-D
