Im just finishing up the a/t to m/t swap in my 90 legacy. I was wondering if i could just take the park/neutral switch from the auto trans and plug it into the harness and place it into the park posistion so i could start the car and drive it around like that. I did remove the auto tcu and im using a 1991 m/t ecu that came with the transmission i bought. At this time im not worried about reverse lights or the cruise control.

All you have to do is jumper pins 11 & 12 together of the B15 AT connector, and it'll start up.

I'd suggest doing that until you can put a starter interlock relay in.....assuming you're going to do that.

No,

It's the 12 pin AT transmission connector in the engine bay that was connected to the auto trans.

There are images of what the connector looks like in my swap write-up.

I'm planning on doing this on my '93 ss. Do I need to find a M/T ECU? or does does jumping trhe connectors solve that? I have been told both.

ECU's are the same between MT and AT...all you have to do is clip one wire (ECU ID)

Use your current ECU. Swapping to a MT ECU, especially with the 90-91 MY's will cause you a bit of headaches.
