Well I got my JoeP MBC earlier this week, and installed it last night.

I fabbed up a bracket to mount it, and then mounted it to the stock wastegate solenoid bracket that I chopped up. I'm very happy with the install, it turned out really good.

I haven't had time to adjust the boost controller yet though....just install it.

For reference, here's pics of the stock setup

Thanks!

I adjusted it on friday, it's easy to adjust, and works well. I had to turn it back down a little as I was hitting fuel cut when in the higher gears and on the freeway.

dont know why but none of your links ever work for me.

Probably because your ISP doesn't like the 8080 port. That port is typically specified as a proxy server port.

On any of the links I post, you can always modify the link to get it to work.

Remove the ":8080" at the end of the link, and change "http://www.main." to "https://www.main."

Like this:

https://www.main.experiencetherave.com/ ... P_6013.JPG

It will be slower due to it being a secure connection, but the links should work.

i see only two places for vacuum lines on the mbc?
does it just bleed the extra to atmo instead of back into the intake like stock?

Yup, that's exactly what it does.

It be nice if it did bleed the air back into the intake, but I don't know of any MBC that does that.

Ultimately, I'd prefer an EBC, but until I get things figured out with EM, I figured it would hurt to play with a MBC.
