Total Brake lockup???

You'll now that I'm about ready to frigin kill my legacy :evil: :evil: :evil:
Well today driving along engine was doing pretty good (better than before) then boom the car stops not the engine the actual car. I was comming up on a stop light started braking then they didn't let up????
was able to kinda pull into a gas station before they totaly locked up. couldn't move called AAA tow truck had to drag the car, tires sqeuling on to the bed. WTF first engine problems now this :evil: :evil: :evil: :evil: :evil: :evil: :evil: :evil: I'm about to loose it.....
SO now I've got to do something so tomorow I'm gonna take it to a shop unless you guys got ideas/HELP
Free beer to anybody who can fix my brakes.........

I redid the pads like 2 months ago and everythoing seemed in order before today :x

well that sucks, u sure its the breaks dragging? Not something else in the drivetrain? Like a seized wheel bearing? Did u get under the car and inspect things, check all fluid levels stuff like that?

Does your car have ABS? Maybe the ABS unit is fried and causing full out brake lockup. Or, perhaps the master cylinder is shot. Usually though, the master cylinder is a slow process of failure.

Yeah I took it to a shop.... too lazy

Another, less likely if you have a 4EAT, scenario - you were comming up to the stop light and started braking, let off but the hill hold failed to see you let up, and then progressed to just keep your brakes locked.
