I'm helping a friend fix some issues with their 96 Legacy before they move, and one of them is the that the reverse light switch is bad, and I wouldn't be able to get one from the dealer in time.

So if you happen to have one from pretty much any newer gen subaru, that should work great.

I really need this switch before next saturday, and am willing to pay for priority mail shipping or the like.

The reverse switch is the forward switch on the transmission. Here's a diagram showing the switches.
