no offence but the gold wheels on a silver car looks bad IMO, black or grey would look much nicer but thats just me. I do like the rest though.

I love those wheels. I know this is completely off topic, so sorry 'bout it, but I know the gold ones like those came on the '98 RS, but where do the silver wheels of the same design come from? Last night at the liquor store, I saw a 95-99 style Legacy GT wagon with those wheels in silver, and I thought it was great, but it got me thinking as to the origin of the wheels. I'd love to grab a set in gold, but I like the silvers just as much.
Your SS looks great, makes me wish I could get another to replace the one I had to let go

i thinks your boost guage is off by 2.3 psi. it appears it reads boost high. Where did you "T" off the hose at?

'98 and '99 2.5 RS had the same wheels. '98 in gold and '99 in silver.
I believe these were either WRX or STI wheels in many european contries also.

The gold wheels look better than the black ones.
Care to tell us about the apexi intake?

apexi power intake is awesome
i bought it off ebay from the uk
the part number is 507-F001
the box has all japanise wirting on it, but it says
wrx/bc5/bf5/gc8/gf8 - ej20
its an older item so im not sure if they make it any more
it does not have the line from the charcol canister so i just blocked that off.
sound wise: holy crap is it loud, i had a cone/coffee mug before but i think this is louder.
proformance: i had to put my stock airbox/resinator back on because my coffee mug broke. so when i had the stock intake on i would get 8-9psi. with this apexi intake i get 10-11psi right to redline.

The gold wheels were a factory option. My roomies 98 RS came with silver wheels.

Go to a junkyard and get a canister from a NA legacy, shouldnt be more than a few bucks. Thats what I did when I dropped that line.

Cool! I've never this one before so I was wondering about loudness.
A quick ebay look shows a lot of the filters for sale, but no intake kits so it must be getting rare.

There are some of these on eBay right now for those who might want one.

Kelowna you said that the line from the grey canister is not there and you blocked it off? Sorry, I don't follow. Which line are you talking about? Is it not necessary?
