Headlight wireharness unknown connector's?

I see a plug on the right headlight connector, there is like a plug there, and its sticking out of the wire harness, but they are not plugged in, ill take a picture if u need it.Should i plug it in?

Second question, should i leave it plugged in? Or unplugged?

As best I can recall, it either varies when the fan(s) kick in or how many fans kick in. Maybe somebody with an electrical manual can compare btwn NAs & turbos & explain what the deal is. I was told to leave it as is (hanging unhooked) for my car.
