my engine swap

I am swapping a ej20g into my 94 touring wagon. I have already swapped a 91 turbo legacy 5spd into it with excedy stage 1 clutch. I bought a rotated turbo mount that i bought from rallitektech and also a vf39 turbo. I am having Matt Monson get my wiring for the coil on plug system figured out for me and i will be installing the engine this weekend and the early next week. Matt Monson with be modifying the wiring like snowjob did. I am then going to running an early ej20g legacy ecu for a couple of months and also be building up the support mods like the fuel system, FMIC, powerFC, and turbo for my hybrid engine going in this next summer. I wanted everyone to know what i was doing and i will be making a write up and taking a lot of pictures. If anyone has any advice on this particular project, it would be much appreciated. I have done quite a few engine replacements so i have that down, but i do need advice on some of the heater lines and coolant lines.
Thanks

Whey,
Now I don't have to document this or take a bunch of pictures, other than the obligitory group photo once both our cars, and Judd's are done...

Thanks for the gift Kelly, that coolant tank is going to work great.

The three of our cars are going to be very fast. I just got it towed to the shop so i now i just need to get started on it. my friend has one project car in front of me in the bay line up, but i should be able to get started on it on monday.

Update: so the engine i was going to use has a damaged oil pick up so the short block is trashed. So, i am starting a careful rush build of a ej22t/ej20t hybrid engine. I decided if i am going to build this engine, i might as well go all out so i don't have to touch it again. I just ordered a set of eagle rods from slow-boy racing, and am also looking to buy a set of Wiseco pistons. I am going to use Cosworth rod bearings i am pretty sure and am not sure what main bearings i want to use yet, but i might just use stock.
As for the heads, i am going to do a stock rebuild and 3 angle valve grind. I just have to be careful with the valves as i don't want to have to order them from Japan. I disassembled my set and cleaned them up, checked flatness, now they just need to go in the ultrasonic cleaner before i build them.
I am not sure what thickness headgaskets i want to use yet and i don't think i want to fork the money to buy ARP headstud but we'll see.
Any comments would be great, thanks

Yeah

Rick said he might be able to get at building the engine on Friday, if not Friday then Saturday. I need to see when Shawn can help me so it could be Friday night, or Saturday. All i really need the bay for is to get all the big parts in. Then i think i am going to help Shawn on his 83 lifted 2.2 wagon. I can call you when i have a better idea of when we are going to work on my car.

OK, but the work is going on down in Denver. I have plenty of help and it is up to you if it is worth the drive to Denver. I will be doing some brake work up in FTC in the next couple of months. If you have anything to install, maybe we could have an install meet with a few other people.

Right. Taking so long. What is it? 40 days since you put up the thread? You make me look like a turtle...

Yes, but you haven't been driving a car with a 1.8L, 150K suspension, and a Sparco Evo for the last 6 months.

While great on gas, it will light a fire under your ass to get the a fast/comfortable car running again. My legacy is going to be waiting for its two sedan swap brothers for a few months it looks like from talking to judd and you. I should have my fmic and PowerFC by then.

Engine is in. Matt Monson came down on Saturday and worked on the wiring while i finished up the intake manifold. Then i installed it. All went well except for me installing one of my engine mounts backwards.

Now i just need to connect everything. That will wait till friday. The only other thing i added is a lightened Excedy flywheel(12.75lbs). So between the rods, pistons, and flywheel, i lost 8.25lbs. 7.25 of that being the flywheel.
