Does anyone have a crank gear the part that holds the timing belt to the crank? It has to be for a 94BC NA ? Let me know if you have one!

Do you have a bad gear? I had a gear with a bad keyway that I just ended up welding to the crank. Might save you having to get the part.

No one of the tabs broke off when I was trying to get the nut off, then I used a 95-96 outback one and the tabs have a shorter duration thus not giving me good spark.

Ah, that sucks. We've got a junkyard with like 12 subys here, so I'll see if they have anything tomorrow. I'd even be willing to meet you up in Canton if you'd like. I'll see what I can find and prices and let you know!

That would be great get back to me on the prices, also I am narrowing it down a little bit between a ground, bad ignitor, or using the wrong crank gear I'm pretty sure it is one of those.

Called up the J/Y. He said $25 bucks for the gear if I pulled it. I guess it's in a flood car so the motor's bad and I can get stuff off it. Let me know if you're interested and what you wanna do!

Gonna suck if your front main ever starts leaking.

LoL, there's a better deal. Either way, we'll have to have a subaru meet sometime. I go to school at stark state, so I'm always in canton.

About welding the crank gear thing, yah you'd have to grind the weld off to get the gear back off if the seal went bad but just a tack isn't too bad to break. But you are right, a new gear is the right way to do it.
