your supposed to slow down when making a turn. I can see the tire marks in like a striaght line right at the wall.

i did slow down, but the driveway is a bit steep, so i tend to turn, then hit the gas, but i wasn't ready for that. I'm not very expereinced with ice, first wreck with this car in 4 years .

True. I think my initial shock of "oh crap i hit the wall" went away, and im realizing its not that big a deal. the biggest thing I think that upset me was the hole that got punched in my bumper by one of the bricks.

Last time we had ice here, I slipped and fell on my ass TWICE before I got to my truck, and I was still dumb enough to try and drive to work.. Got about 10 miles from my house and I slowed down cuz I saw brake lights about a quarter of a mile ahead of me, I was barely on the brake and the ABS kicked in, and since I had the 4WD engaged I hadn't noticed how slick the road was. I ended up turning around and going home, went to work like 4 hours later and I saw like 8 cars in the ditch between Corvallis and Junction City.
