Lighted buttons on WRX head unit

Well I got my WRX headunit in the Legacy a while back and I noticed that the buttons dont light up and its kinda irritating that I cant see the buttons at night.
Anybody else have this problem, know how to fix it, have any ideas how to fix it?

You may missed a dim wire for your unit. Check the wire diagram and do the wiring again!

Maybe you just have to replace the lights

Yeah could be a dimmer wire problem. I bought a David Carter reverse harness which has both wires, and then transplanted an unused wire on the other harness (power antenna) to the other dimmer wire place. I made a thread about that shouldn't be more than a page or two back.
