If the intercooler is the same size as an sti one then it will not fit easily, or at all. The standard wrx intercooler would fit better with a little less modification involved.

Stick with a stock wrx TMIC, prefferably the 2006 version.
What ever you do don't even think of an aftermarket intercooler like an APS TMIC...
