It looks like that's it for me

Today, a lady slammed into the back of my Sport Sedan. It's hammered and it's going to be a total loss. It still has a decent engine in it so, depending on what they say I may be able to buy it back. Now, the only reason I would do that is if someone wanted to get some parts of it. I'll be parting it for sure. That'll be it for me and these cars. It bums me out because I was just getting ready to do something with it. It's toast now.

Yeah, it's a sad day.

I went over right after it happened and it's fuckin tweaked. The rear end is bashed really bad so I'm sure it will get totalled. Scott had a set of vintage drums in the back too and they got creamed.
That's two SS's that have been lost over past year and they were both nice cars.
I'm pourin' a little out for both your ladies Scott, may they rest in peace and have their hearts transplanted into another Subie so that they may run free and fast!

You should get another one. I keep finding them on the East Coast, but rarely over on the West Coast.
Hell, I got mine in Philly.

Friggin women! Bet she wasn't even hot. Sucks about the drums, too. Just try to look at it like it's an opportunity to move on to something else. Good luck.
Things like this always make me think those manufacturer quoted numbers of survivors is BS. Like 90% of Camrys since 1988 are still on the road or whatever. Rust and accidents alone would take out more than that. Look at the SSs that get taken out and they're pretty rare.
Looks to be a surplus of these motors now just on this board for sale.

So, yeah, the 91 will be sitting at a repair shop on Rt. 15 and will soon thereafter be accompanied by the 93. Both engines will be sold, both trannys, etc. and it will be sitting at a garage to boot. Just giving a heads up in case anyone was interested.

Man, what a bummer!
It appears the last of the old ways are gone.
I hope you nail the woman for insurance. I'm really sad about the drums getting beat up!

That's a sad story. I hate it when someone else ruins your stuff.
