Hey guys this is my 92 Subaru Legacy SS 5MT that I purchased this weekend. I bought it with those rims and toyo tires.
It has a freshly rebuilt EJ22T, new clutch, all new wires plugs and brakes... I have plans for it but as for now Id just like to get some of the minor things fixed
keep in mind I paid 1000$ canadian for it... give me your opinions wether good or bad an if you have any input on how to fix some of my minor things id really apreciate it ....
My first problem is that the guy I bought it off of siliconed the sunroof shut

... Im asuming it was leaking as the motors all work for it.... so is there anyway to easily remove the silicone an I would imagine that i need to replace the rubber around it now so is there a seal kit I can buy to do this.....

That's a sweet deal if it had all that work done to it.
Odd that they painted it but left the front chrome trim strip.
You'll need to do more than just replace the rubber sunroof surround.

There's a thread about it with pictures you can search for.

i had mine sealed with silicone before i fixed it, i took it off with a utility knife, it works good but be careful not to hit the paint to hard
but yeah like the said, its not the window gasket

it took me about 2-3 hours to do, the hardest part is getting the roof trim in and out, and not breaking your trim pieces while removing them, other than thats its not to hard, dont bend your roof trim when taking it out or putting it back in, it a big piece of cardboard and will snap if you bend it to much

well thanks guys... the car is mechanically as far as engine and drivetrain goes 100% hoever since the engine rebuild the check engine light has bin on an the ABS light. car works great an its not flashing any codes that Im aware of an it was taken to a friend of mines shop. Ive bin debating just taking the check engine light bulb out but Im still curious to know what it is, the baterys weak but I cant see that doing it. also any idea why my ABS light is on (The ABS doesnt work) but I dont see any sensors or anything
