Does anyone recommend them? How do they work with your existing battery terminal. Would you just cut off the stock terminal and push it into that block and crank it down? Or is this just for a second battery to connect the amp/s to?

Replace your stock terminal with one that has space for the amp power wire. It's a lot easier that way.

Or just don't worry about it because you don't really need one...

I run a 600 watt amp off my stock battery terminal and it has no problem with it

What if I want to run a 400 watt amp, and a 600 watt amp?

As long as you have a good connection it really doesn't matter whether you use the stock terminal or something else. I personally like using terminals designed for amp wiring just because they're easier to connect multiple wires too. It's really not that big a deal though.

I know you don't have to have them, but I just wanted to see what some guys thought.

I ended up getting one, it was like 7 bucks and has holes for 4 different amp wires. I think it'll make the install look clean.

You'll regret it. When I worked as an installer at this one shop the damn salesmen would sell this crap to every person who bought an amp. Every amp install had me cutting battery cables to install these things. not only is it a bitch because you may notice that the factory battery cable is just long enough to reach the terminal, but it is all very bad due to the battery cable being held in by a simple set screw. You will have problems with this and you will hear an "I told you so" from me

Also, people should stop throwing around how many watts they have in their system like its a friggin penis size contest. Look at all your amps in your system and see what size fuse they are running. I used to love seeing people with these walmart 500 watt amps with a friggin 15 amp fuse in the side of it. A 500 watt 1/2 ohm stable amp should have around 50-60 amp fuse in it.

Alright, I've got a possibly dumb question. Would 4 15 amp fuses be like a single 60 amp fuse?

no they wouldn't.

depends on the circuit really. if they are all in parralell then yes its the same thing. if its likely that the amp is using two banks of each in parralell for 30 amps of protectetion for each channel. hard to tell without looking at it. the mathmatical value of a watt is around $1.50 ish just as a rule of thumb for a decent quality amp. a good example is my a/d/s P840. 40 watts x 8 channels, this amp retailed for 900 ish when new. thats over $2.81 dollars per watt.

i do not like to use them they can just add more problems use a fuse block that has two sides, two fuses they have em at walmart you can have one big wire go from your battery and as close as possible to the battery have your fuse block and you can divid from there or use one power wire to the trunk and divide there thats how mine is ran im running one 760w pioneer and one big 5/4ch eclipse
