Dyno time part Deux!

Ok, before we started modding, we dyno'd the car to get a baseline.

Sadly, the place we dyno'd at no longer has their dyno.

So we are going to have 2 maps that don't quite have that exacting match with the same equipment, but that is life.

Our first dyno was with no mods and 125,000 on the clock.

This weekend, Rallitek is having a dyno day at Torquefreaks in Portland and I got on the list for the Dyno.

So, with 152,000 on the odo, and with the 06 WRX intercooler, 16G at 9psi, Pod filter, full 3 inch exhaust with divorced wastegate, coffee cup mod, diamond coil pack, and god knows what else we have done to the car.

Curious what the numbers will be.

I'll be there as well!

I will be shooting for the 300 mark! But only if I get a MBC of some sort. Otherwise probably 230-240 range @ 16psi.

My prediction for you is 170 whp 190 torque

How about this: if someone guesses my EXACT PEAK HP AND TQ, I will send them a Carbon Fiber STI strut tower bar.

One vote only per person.

I'll stick with my above guess.

I think dyno numbers for what your mods are will be really nice for this board. I know I'd like to find out.

My exact guess: 187 HP 193 TQ

Yes, this strut bar will fit your car.

Total mod list for the engine:
Divorced gate downpipe
full 3 inch exhaust ( with cat and resonator)
Diamond Coil pack
Td05-16g running wastegate boost (8-9lbs)
Coffee cup mod
Grounding wire mod
K&N pod filter
Perrin Catch can
WRX Coolant tank ( relocated)
06 WRX intercooler
Samco intercooler hoses

That is about it.

DZX - At 16psi, I made 214/249 on pump gas with a similar setup.

yeah, I remember that. I never had my car dynoed when the 16G was on it.

Lets do some math for calculations of predicitions.....

16 psi = 214.....

0 boost is about 90

(214-90)/16 = 7.75 hp per psi

So....

(9 x 7.75) + 90 = 159.75 whp!

I'll take a stab in the dark.

184 hp & 201 trq

BUT

I have the stock Dyno graph that shows I put down close to 150 at the wheels stock, SOOOOOOOOOO

I was thinking in the realm of 180-190 myself.
