so I realize through searching that any 02-06 WRX downpipe will bolt to my stock turbo. So I am still required to finishthe rest of the exhaust which isnt a big deal. I guess Im just double checking. this will work??

It'll work. Just the other end that goes to your rest of your exhaust won't reach, which is why you need other exhaust work done to make it reach.
