Hi,

i'm parting out my engine. here's what i got to offer :

Ej22T shortblock, has been rebuilt with forged CP pistons (2618 alloy), Eagle rods, balanced. The engine ran ~45 000km since the build, and still runs great.

EJ20(K or H) (Legacy TwinTurbo 97) heads... 8.1mm valve lift, shims over bucket valve adjustment, so alot better than ej20g heads :) .

'96 intake manifold.

'02 WRX intercooler

'96 TD05-16G turbo with 40 000km on it (Has been rebuilt before install).

SDS-EFI EM-3 engine management.

With this setup, on 12psi boost the engine was pretty powerfull, with +300hp specs.

I'll remove it from the car around march 3rd. I'll get back with some prices.

Holy shit! Morgie! Where have you been man?

You built such a beautiful car, what happened?

Is the motor complete as a long block, or have you torn it down?

I'll take the heads from you. what would be involved with making the computer to work with the legacy, and how difficult is it to tune?

Wow, The Morgie!

It's been a REAL long time! I remember reading your build list when I was a greenhorn here, and Boostjunkie was still around!

It's been a LONG time.

Good to hear your doing well and that you've got a pimp sounding WRX.

hehe yeah I remember a lot of you too :) It's been quite a while... But i still talk about the forum to friends who ask questions as beeing _The_ place to get real good infos :)

Beeing a complete stand-alone computer, you basically only have to hook 7 wires and you're ready for actions. Tuning it is also pretty simple, hook a wideband for one or two hours of air/fuel tuning, and you're almost done. And since you live in L.V. you wont really have problems with cold-starts at bellow 20 celcius... :)

If i remember correctly I think from one of your posts a long time ago, you have to put magnets on the crank sprocket or maybe i read that somewhere else. Do you have a way to easily mount the crank sensor? I'll probably take the computer off your hands as well.

What was the engine balanced up to? If it's still for sale what's the current asking price?

Yep, the sds needs 3 magnets on the crank pulley and a HAL Sensor positionned correctly to operate. This pulley + mouting braket is included in the kit.

It was balanced to 10 000rpms. The prices listed above are still good, depending on what you take :)
