Wonderful way to start the year.
Just ha dmy first meet of the year last weekend, and this week it poofs out..I think.

So I have a slight coolant resavoir leak. Every now and then I notice the temp climbs, so I add more coolant. Today, the I let the car warm up. Drove about a half mile, and I look down at the temp gauge and I am coming up to the red. I pulled into Steak n Shake, shut it down (which I should not have done) and put coolant in it. Started right up, gauge went to normal, I take off and its chugging along. No power at all. And it felt...like a motor mount was broken! Harsh harsh vibrations and the motor just shaking back and forth!
Drove it to my buddys house (he got married today, I was on my way to his wedding) and rode with im. Came back after the wedding, drove home, even worse. can barely get up hills. it revs slow in neutral and under load it has zero power.

Here ar a few things I am thinking.

-blown head gasket(s)
-BHG + warped cyl head(s) from over heating and shutting down
-coolant dripped on the knock sensor and its toast
or D: all of the above

Great day, huh. Now I get to go to work.

Could be, but if I am going to spend money on the motor, especially internals, with 216,xxx miles, id rather just get it rebuilt.
You know...thats a very good point. Because for about two weeks now I have had really bad valve noise coming from the drivers side head...
Maybe I just need a new head. But alas... I must do a sort of financing deal, because I am a broke-ass, and it is not going to be at Subaru specialized shop, so I'd rather them build me an entire engine, so if it blows up again, then they can't just blame it on something they didn't touch.
I wish I had money to take it to Axis...
