What my Legacy sounds like

Some have asked what my car sounds like with the Borlas, Random cat, Cobb CAI and especially the Fujitsubo muffler. I took two videos from inside the car a week and a half ago to illustrate what it sounds like. If there's enough interest, I'll make a video of the exhaust itself.

Not sure about sound, sounds alittle like a Honda. Better at low revs tho. This must be a NA legacy right?

It is NA.
Honda? Crazy.

From outside the car the boxer noise is noce at low in revs but at high revs sounds like Honda, thats what I think. NA models never sound as good tho. I think the exhaust might be flowing to well, its making that air hissing noise alittle. Maybe a smaller pipe or tip would sound better.
In NZ we don't have Cat-convertors and 90% of subaru's are turbo, so our subaru's sound very deep and rumbling. Maybe its clouding my judgment of your car.
Still a great looking car.
Out of interest how much would a car like yours cost in the US? Here is NZ a 2000 Legacy NA version would cost about NZ$8000 (US$5000) and the turbo version NZ$12000 (US$8000). Rough guess at US conversion.
The old gen 1 legacy turbos are less than a NZ$1000 (US$600). Thats way I race one, cheap parts!

I added another video, the fourth. I did this one because the car sounds a little different when the CEL/MIL isn't on, and I should be getting my TWE headers this week.
RallyRS: Naturally it depends on the trim of the car. Mine's the top-of-the-line GT Limited, so it would be worth the most, but because there are no turbo models, the value is higher than if there were.

I just added a fifth video, this one featuring my TWE equal-length headers. I've got a comparison of before and after with the Borlas, for those of you who are interested in the change. There's a walkaround, some in-car driving and a hard acceleration run from outside the car.

This is the first time I've heard the car with these headers from outside, and I must confess that I quite like it. Somewhat aggressive, still sounds somewhat like a Subaru, but smooth.
