LoL, is he wearing a medal?

Even if he is, that's not enough. You better make sure you help that kid get a kick ass ride when he can drive- first welding, now this!

Good fun!

I took out at least 15 lbs....of just tar. I didnt weigh it though.

I also lost ALL the door panels, the headliner, and took a knibbler to the tailgait.

I am pretty sure I lost close to 100 lbs yesterday and today.

I don't think I have that in my car - unless it's painted white - was yours painted red before you had at it? I definiitly don't have black tar under the rear seats - I don't think so at least...maybe I do but they painted it? Hmmm....

Aw shucks....... :smt053

I have a red wagon, therefore the interior is painted red. If you are white, I bet all the tar is painted white. You can see where the material was before and after.

You DO have it, its under the carpet and carpet pad.

doug how much you figure that thing weighs now? 2800 or so?
next you should nibble the hood and rear doors if you arent keeping the rear seats.
and some of the core support too if you running hood pins, could lose the hood latch and stuff.

Its probably down to 2700, maybe less.

It was at 2800 before I removed ALOT of stuff.

Yup, still married!

What have you removed?

Im trying to get it down to 2700 to compete with my friends RS coupe (he's keeping everything, even AC)

AC
Powersteering
Sunroof
Sound deadening
All trim & interior except for the dash
Rear seatbelts
Everything in the trunk
Sparco front seats (like 20 lbs each including mounts)

My new roommate is a fiberglass pro, so Im going to see about getting my hood and trunk replaced with glass.

I have to keep my bumpers tho.. Not willing to take that risk.
