EJ22 vs EJ22T clutch question

I have an EJ22, and it will need a clutch soon, and in the process of my restore/rebuild on the car, I am replacing the EJ22 with an EJ22T, and I was wondering if I can upgrade the regular to the turbo clutch (or a more high performance clutch) and have it work with both. so to make a long question short, are the EJ22 and EJ22T clutches and flywheels interchangeable?

The turbo and non-turbo clutches are NOT interchangeable...
The big question is whether you are upgrading to a turbo transmission with your swap or not...
If not, you could source an upgraded clutch setup for a 2.5RS which would fit your stock NA tranny perfectly

is there a significant difference between the turbo manual trans and the n/a one?
and with the 2.5rs setup, I can just grab the flywheel and run any clutch/flexplate I want that works with the 2.5rs?

Turbo trannies have a hydraulic pull type clutch with have stronger internals, and the N/A's have a cable push type.

I have a 1991 SS. That must have been the reason my performance clutch kit was so darned expensive... I had no idea the turbo ones were heavier duty throughout as well.
