I have a v2 sti engine in a jet boat. I am able to use avgas which is 100 octane as i have a bit to do with flying. Is there an issue here at all with the engine running too rich?? I hear the lead can make the o2 sensor read funny?? Keen for any tips. Def makes it go harder tho. smells nice too!

What boost should this engine handle?? What are they stock standard??

Oh and do i need to change to cooler plugs or something if running avgas. If so, would anyone know what number plug?? just the normal cheap plugs tho not platinum.

1. the engine will find it harder to ignite the fuel, you may have trouble starting on really cold days without a high compression motor.
2. Lead fuel will kill the cat converter (if you have them) and the O2 sensor. Nothing you can do to avoid that, don't use it or expect to replace the O2 sensor like you change your oil and cut your cat out (may be illegal in your area)
3. Search
4. Search
5. Search
6. Don't use platinum plugs. Ever.

I almost bought a 1971 Lamborghini Espada from a guy who ran av gas in one tank and high octane regular in the other (gas tank on each side). FWIW he swore by it for that car.

If I remember correctly, AvGas is leaded, so it will destroy your cats/O2 sensor.

Boats don't have cats. The USCG won't even let the EPA mandate them citing fire risk. He may be in NZ, but no boats I've ever heard of have cats.
