So about a week ago, i lost control of boost. I thought it was the old BCS crapping out. So yesterday I tried the GM one, since its pretty cheap. Still nothing. So I grab the hose to the actuator, blow into it. The diaphram in there is toast. Sweet. I guess I'll have to get a nice one, prob from ATP. 3bay FTL.

I want to soooooooo bad but there's a bunch of crap I should really do first. AFPR and lines, rear axel, compustar, lsd, and other stuff i'm not thinking of.
I'm getting $1800 back on taxes, but its taking its sweet time. We'll see. A 44mm tial runs about $350 right?

Yea, thereabouts. If you need one, I think we've got a few on the shelf.

I'll keep that in mind. How loud is it to just dump it? That would make the fab a hell of a lot easier. I suppose it would only be loud when you hit your boost target.

Yea, dumping it isn't THAT loud. It could probably get annoying, but it's too cool for that to happen.

It's pretty loud...you'll definately get a cop's attention if it opens in his vicinity. I've had my 50 trim dumping externally for 2 years now and it's still loud to me.

Well, a 44mm Tial is on the way. As a nice FPR. I need to call Outback Motorsports tomorrow for their fuel rail adapters to run -6. I guess boost and fuel control is a good thing, heh.

Well, I've got it in hand. Now just need a time and place to get her in. I may try to level my turbo a bit more as well. Oh, and a 9 psi spring in my bov was the ticket.
