How do I bleed my ABS unit?

I have a bosch unit that appear to not have any of the bleeder fittings.

I would really like to bleed it out real well since I changed my MC a while ago and definitely got air in the lines.

I have the full set of the FSM, but it doesn't mention anything about the bosch unit, just the nippon unit.

One of my coworkers suggested just cracking the lines going to the unit from the MC and using them as impromptu bleeders (opening under pressure and closing before letting up).

My brakes really just seem to suck, and I think this is one of the main reasons why. I am probably going to wait until I throw my WRX front calipers on there to bleed them well, but I would really like to know how to do so.

Here's what I would do. Bleed the brakes normally. Drive down the street at a brisk pace, and slam on the brakes to engage ABS. Then re-bleed.

That should push most of the air out of the ABS unit.

I'll try that.

Last time I used a vacuum bleeder, and it didn't work for crap. I will try it the regular way next time.
