used to get 24-28 mpg with my 94 touring wagon, that was for about a year and a half, prior to this past winter.
this winter, I can't manage any better than 17mpg

Yesterday, i was checking under the hood routing maintenance, oil check, coolant, washer fluid, brake, etc etc.
GUESS WHAT I FOUND?
turbo outlet hose clamp loose......
hopefully my mileage will get much better now........lol
and now its almost time to park it until next winter, and get the summer car out......

I would LOVE to see 24-28mpg. I have a 1993 Turbo Wagon and since Ive owned it the best ive ever seen was 16mpg... my average is 13.5mpg.

Maybe I should start poking around at the turbo piping too.

That's pretty bad. Mine did almost that well when I only had spark in 2 cylinders, so the other two cylinders were just dumping gas out the exhaust pipe.

I get 200mi per tank, maybe 210mi before the gas light comes on. I put new plugs in the car when i bought it, and it runs on all 4 cyl's, but im thinking maybe its due for new plug wires.

Not sure where else to look, I put a new O2 sensor in a couple weeks ago, but that only brought my MPG from 190mi to 200 per tank.

180 miles a tank here, running an EJ22T block without the turbo. Granted, I fill up at just below a quarter tank, so that's about 11 gallons or 18mpg.
