The first link worked before...why not now?
::EDIT:: Seems to work now. Weird though.

It wasn't working at about 9AM this morning. I should have taken a screenshot. It looked like one of those websites that you get when you mistype a domain name (but it wasn't misspelled)

It looked exactly the same as the 2nd link you posted above...

It's kind of wierd. before I would type in
http://www.legacycentral.org and it would work. But
http://legacycentral.org works though.
Edit:
Well it's back to normal for me now. I was on a computer with a direct connection to the internet and it was working fine maybe a couple of screw ups. But when I was on my laptop last night I was getting those weird search sites that are posted below.

Maybe clean out any tracking cookies and/or add-ons and objects that may be hijacking your browers.

I got it today at about 2PM. The main site worked, but as soon as I tried the link for the boards, it didn't work. It's back up now though (3pm). I'm getting the same ad page too.
Definately not a browser hijack.

This is totally weird. I have no good explanation, because it's not on the server side. Maybe there's some DNS poisoning going on somewhere...

In addition to the time, please do a tracert.
Go to start run, type cmd , hit enter, type tracert , and then hit enter.
See what comes up when the board is working fine, and when it's having problems.
I would also guess DNS issues.
I still for some unknown reason can't access the USMB from work....

I've never used
www.bbs.legacycentral.org and I've never gotten ads.
That is very odd.

It seems to have settled for now. Perhaps it was just DNS poisoning like DLC said..

I was on
www.scoobymods.com today, and I got the same ad garbage I was getting here. I thought it was some anti subaru ad conspiracy taking over anything subaru related, but they posted this on their site:
"Guess we got bit in the ass last night by our service provider with a IP address change from one block to another. So DNS propogation is gonna take a little while .."
Did that happen to us by chance?

We have a static IP at the host that will not change, so it shouldn't have been a problem. The DNS issue could have been related to something at the host provider though, but it's difficult to say.
