Back in the butter zone

I finaly did it. I got tired of competing for an office job with kids half my age who are willing to work for far less than I am.
Got fed up. Called my old union (Painters & allied trades. Im a journeyman Painter/Sandblaster). Got dispatched same day to a job 500 miles away.
Im making slightly more than $20 per hour. Since Im an out of towner they are paying for my hotel AND giving me $25 a day to eat, drink, and be merry with. we're working 50 hours a week AND i have optional additional overtime on the weekends.
You know. I hate they work. Its dirty, Its loud. Its dangerous.
And I wish Id gone back a lone time ago.
