I am looking to buy some:

front kyb gr2's
purchased the springs
rear top hats

these will work right?

If any one has anything that is new or with fairly low miles < 10,000 let me know.

edit: I still need the rear tophats. I only need the front struts now.

You want GC springs? What spring rates?

I mean if they are similar to whiteline springs in drop and stiffness(and cheaper wouldn't hurt either:D ). I would need them to work with my wagon.
that's a steal. sent that guy an email.

A question about kyb gr2's
For 90-91, the rears are part number 235067, 235068 but for 92-94 it's 235069, 235070. Is there a big difference in the 90-91 struts versus the 92-94 struts? Those part numbers are of course for the AWD ones.

there are TONS of threads on compatibility, just search. I got sick of reading about it and just went for some AGX's meant for a GC impreza. I can let you know how they work next weekend.

Yes, there is a dfference between <91 and 92<

Hmm, how low miles? the fronts have the same part numbers 235065-235066 whether it's awd vs. 2wd. We could meet half way to save on shipping?

I've got a set of 95-99 2WD Gr2's brand new in box.

$80+ shipping if they'll fit.

If they are for a legacy then they will not fit as far as I know. The part numbers for those struts are completely different (start with a 3, compared to the ones for my car start with a 2). If they are for an impreza then I am pretty sure they will work as long as they don't have abs.

I should have clarfied. I only have the rear set, but they are brand new.

The numbers are:
334164
334165

I heard from a fellow subaruer that they will fit Impreza's but I'm not sure.

Ebay says:
Subaru Impreza 2WD -1993-01
Part #: 235073, 235074

I already have some rears from a 90-91 on the way. I have been told those will work with my car. I appreciate you trying to help. Just keep an eye out for the fronts. :D

I don't recall the exact mileage but it was pretty low...we could probably meet, I'm not sure when I make it up there though.
Are you going to Subiefest?

Probably not going to Subiefest. If it was closer I would probably check it out on Saturday but school has me staying close to home.

I guess you could just ship them to save hassle.

shipping probably won't be too bad given the distance-I'll box them up and get a shipped price...

bump for question about rear top hats.

I have some 93-07 groupN top hats for the front but I don't have the rears. What do I need to get for the rear? any suggestions?

After upgrading your suspension, if anyone has stock driver front and driver rear struts for a 92 Legacy sedan AWD, I will take them off your hands!
