Hi All. I have a 90 legacy wagon that had the 'height' package removed. I was wondering if there is any easy and safe way to get a bit more clearance out of this thing? Someone sugested oversize tires?
Thanks!

Some people have put the newer outback struts and springs on to get a little more ground clearance.
Thanks, Josh

Thanks Josh. I will look into that. Probaby too rich for my blood right now, but I'm thinking if I hunt around by the end of summer I might come up with good deals, or who knows....
....
....
I might SPRING for it.
ugh
Thanks,
Chris

Look at used struts & springs from a wrecked outback in a local junkyard.

great, I will do that!
So no worries with years, compatability or anything? Any outback will do? Does it need to be a wagon?
Thanks!

You're not likely to find a sedan. Suspension's definitely better than bigger tires. You won't screw up your speedometer calibration, affect acceleration, or have possible interference issues that way.
