I've always found it takes a little while for a new job to become fun. Still sucks though.

you are all obviously not cooks in a Pub/Night club. That is the best and worst job ever at the same time. I work 4pm - 12am 5 days a week (pretty much which ever days i want to work) which gives me all the important time in the day to be awake, 12-4am. Not to mention I work at a party, where the only thing strange are good people. Non stop, beautiful girls (waitresses), great friends engaging in constant bullshitting and (some of them) drug and alcohol induced jollying about. It's like I work in that place pinnocio goes where everyone is turning into a donkey *edit, it's called the "Land of Toys".

It's a little lengthy to get into, but I'm still not too busy, but the policies and procedures are more strict. I'm not being taught how to use engineering software, yet expected to use it to model stuff by reading the help files and the proper codes, etc.

This is not my preferred style of work, or learning. I think they may want me to seal something, but I'm not going to....we'll see how that turns out.
