What EDM parts are cool?

What EDM parts are cool and different than USDM parts? I'm curious for BC/BFs and also GC-era Imprezas, too.

All I know off the top of my head are: better headlamps, RHD stuff, and obviously turbo 2.0L engines in the BC and GC.

I don't know of any RHD EDM cars...

All UK are RHD. The continental cars should all be LHD.

Glad we got that out of the way :P

What parts are cool and different on UK-market BC/BFs or GC's? What would you grab if you were in a junkyard here?

tails lights are different. They have 5 bulbs (rear fogs) and light up differently. Also the trunk has a rear garnish (to hold the license plate) instead of the light like we have. The bumpers are different, front the euro bumper has foglights, rear there is no license plate indent like on ours because their license plate is on the trunk. Not to mention the RS turbo model (that had a vf10 i believe) has an RS turbo sticker above the sidemarkers which I am looking for.

2.0 intercooled turbo
electronic speedo
much more supportive seats
manual seatbelts with height adjustment
felt lined pillars
non-airbag 3 spoke momo steering wheel
factory fitted 205/60/15 tires
gun metal color coded alloy wheels
headlamp washers
side and rear skirts
red hazard button
rear bumper with no license plate
tailights with built in rear fogs and separate lights for driving lights/brakes
license plate mount on trunk garnish
puddle lights in front doors
hvac controls with standardized symbols and separate recirc button
side repeaters have no reflectors
no chrome below side windows
color coded side mirrors
standard rear LSD

Impreza turbo straight-louvered hood vents similar to what the WRC Legacy used.

Brakes son. I'd get the brakes.

There are some EDM bits I want for the Forester. Forester Turbo hood and headlight squirters. Plus corner lights.

These were nicely appointed cars over there - how many did they sell? Big success - vs. what cars - e30 M3, Cosworth Ford? ????

That's hilarious.

Someone took the scan on my site (which I did, because I own that Autosport), and hosted it somewhere else.

It is from a gallery that splinter linked me too. He has a whole bunch of legacy related pics. He also linked to this place and rsliberty club so I am guessing thoes two places are where he got all his stuff from. I'll link everyone to the gallery when i get home, every leg enthusiest needs to see the site.

What the hell are you talking about ?
The Legacy GrpA used the exact same hood as our Legacy Turbo with the small single scoop.

I don't care to dig up a photo. It's like the vents on the 2.5 RS, but straight instead of split with a mesh. I had a poster with one that had them. Early Impreza turbos also came with them. Believe it or don't, I don't care, it's just a vent.

Never read the full article, but based on the title I would say the Germans were fairly impressed with them, even if they are only comparing to a 525
