i am currently replacing the motor in my 90 sedan with the motor in the 92 wagon and am thinking about a light weight flywheel but have noticed that no one makes a light weight flywheel for the earlier cars. my question is what is the difference between the flywheel in my 90 and the later flywheels? i understand that the pressure plate is different due to the cable clutch and hydro clutch.

The clutch area is different sizes (diameter). I don't know what else is different. Newer flywheels will bolt onto the crank, but you probably want to match flywheel and clutch contact areas.
